In a move to likely to reduce the growing dissatisfaction amongst Uber drivers, Uber quietly updated it’s terms of service to charge a $15 return item fee if you forget a bag or a phone in the car.  Drivers didn’t like unpaid trips to return items at not only the expense of their time that would have been paid in theory, but also if they agree to drive it to you gas costs as well.  It’s not exactly a big change since drivers typically would bring up a tip for return and it wasn’t frowned upon by the company like it normally would be to ask for extra cash tip.  This new policy just makes it easier for everyone involved.  Just be sure and double check for your stuff before you get out your next uber or it’s gonna cost you an extra $15 to get that phone returned.
