Klowd TV is a live tv streaming service with over 75 channels of live tv and costs just $7.99/mo. The channel count is that high because they have a Music Choice clone and competitor included.
The service has some high end content including Gol TV, Sony Movie Channel, and The Blaze which regardless of your politics Glenn Beck did make the highest rated special (non-breaking news ratings) in the history of the highest rated non-broadcast channel in the US while at Fox News Channel, and he now makes that history style documentary every week for this channel (just stating the facts there with no comment), in addition to what I now consider one of my favorite channels Clubbing.tv which airs non-stop dance music videos.
They surprised everyone by launching a Klowd TV box loaded with Android TV and the Klowd TV app pre-loaded yesterday.
It looks like a pretty high end Android TV box and comes with a premium keyboard. The price does reflect this at this time at the higher end for the market of $165.
The cool thing is you get $75 off a year of Klowd TV service making it slightly under $20 for the first year of service which is impressive since I paid $9.99/mo in the 90’s for Music Choice via cable (now with inflation that would be about $22/mo value) and competing soccer channels to Gol TV go for $14.99/mo and The Blaze is available standalone app for $9.99/mo and Clubbing.tv is standalone $2.99/mo.
