In an effort to reinforce it’s slogan “We have the meats” Arby’s is kicking off hunting season with elk and venison sandwiches.

Last year the chain offered it in limited stores and regions, but sold out a mere five hours into the promotions.

As a result they stated, “The positive response to our limited offering of venison last year was so widespread and passionate that we knew we had to find a way to offer it nationwide,” said Jim Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc.

The thick-cut deer meat, marinated in garlic and topped with a juniper-infused Cabernet steak sauce and crispy onions will be available in all states for a limited time.

The elk burger is only available in a few central states.

They both go on sale October 21st, and while supplies last may mean hours before they are all gone.
